Snake: 1, Frog: 0

These photos (somewhat gory to some people's tastes) really speak for themselves. Suffice to say that I heard the screaming of the frog, located the pair and proceeded to photograph the whole process. The snake is a Keelback, Tropidonophis mairii, and the frog is a Cyclorana australis, the Giant Burrowing frog.

Impressive... the 'snake with legs' photo towards the end is quite interesting. How long did it take between the first and 8th photo?

That is cool (though not very nice for a frog lover). The frog's head is larger than the snakes!

Tremendous David.

Once when dissecting a snake at kgtn, we found a whole and freshly eaten frog inside. All the children wanted to work out how the snake could have got the frog to put its arms down. It must have eaten from the head end I think.

I will send this link to that kgtn, where younger siblings now attend, with a letter for their olders.

I like the 'satisfied grin' shot at the end ;-)

Hope you're doing well up there!
